Peace - After the Release of Pain - 6th Word from the "Good Word" Project
Peace - the "Good Words" project for week 6
Week 6 -The 6th word for Joanna "Grace" Goldsmith's project "Good Words" where each week she will give us another word, for her readers to find inspiration, and put that word to use in thought and action.
Peace, the 6th "Good Word."
At the beginning of Grace's project, I pledged to write a poem for each good word.
I find it a little more challenging than I thought, but a lot more rewarding.
This week's poem is a tribute to Grace, on her loss of a special friend.

When you learn someone you love has passed
That is when the pain from grief will start
And rip right through your grieving heart
And now the healing tears must start
Tears to wash the pain from your aching heart
And allows precious memories to start
Then "Peace" will come
Like the serene Peace after a pouring rain
Peace comes from the release of pain
Pain washed away by the blurring tears that sadness brings
Like an early day in spring
When the birds of peace will sing
Shalom my friend
The (((((Peace)))))) that God meant for us, when he gave his son for our sins.
