Perseverance –the 48th Good Word in the “good Words Project”
The Good Word Perseverance
Perseverance—the 48th Good Word in this series of Good Words, a project created by Jo "grace" Goldsmith gave us to encourage us to “Persevere” never give up our desire to be the best most creative writers we can be, and to inspire us to live up to our God given potential as human beings, to be what we were put here to be.
I have seen Jo "Grace" persevere through so many setbacks these 3 short years that she has been and is still an inspiration as she stayed positive and upbeat, although sometimes through her tears, but always manages to persevere.
A special thanks to you Jo for inspiring us to keep on writing.
The retired carpenter ant
The Persistent ant
The Persistent ant, was sculpted, for my husband for his perseverance through all these years. I never see him give up on whatever he decides to do. Hubby is a retired carpenter--thus the carpenter ant.
Sculpture by a man named Will Hatch and it is called a Whim-ZEE.
What is Perseverance?
Perseverance: Persistence, Determination, Grit, Insistence, Resolution, and Diligence
To me perseverance is the determination to reach my goal no matter what the opposition.
Perservance

Perseverance is to never ever give-up
No matter what you do
Just be persistent
And you will see your projects through
Let no one hold you back, or tell you
That what you are trying
Is something you can’t do
Dig in your heels and show them
You will see your projects through
Even when things seem to be
Down in the dumps for me
Perseverance is the key
And my projects I will see them through
You will see
Even when you are feeling low
Never let it show
Let your perseverance start anew
And you will see your project through
High Hopes
Once there was a silly old ant
Who thought he could move a rubber tree plant
Everyone knows an ant can't
Move a rubber tree plant, but he had high hopes
